What's Included
- Rossi Model 462 revolver
The Model 462 is part of Rossi's 46x series and is configured as a double-action/single-action snub-nose with an exposed spurred hammer. Its compact size paired with a 6-round fluted cylinder sets it apart among small-frame .357 Mag revolvers.
Construction is all stainless steel, with a polished stainless finish on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The 2-inch barrel features a full underlug with a shrouded ejector rod and a milled rib. Fixed sights include a serrated ramp front and a square-notch rear integral to the topstrap for a simple, durable sight picture.
The ignition system uses a frame-mounted firing pin with transfer-bar safety. A smooth-face trigger supports consistent double-action work, while the single-action mode offers a crisp break. Black rubber finger-groove grips with Rossi medallions provide a secure, hand-filling hold.
This example was made in Brazil by Taurus and imported by Braztech Int'l L.C., Miami, FL. The ZH serial prefix indicates August 2006 production, and the yoke/crane carries the stamping '0406 462', aligning with its 2006 manufacture date.
