This Insurrection is a full-size, government-length 1911 with a 5-inch stainless steel barrel and a proprietary stainless double-stack frame and grip. The pistol carries a matte stainless finish on both slide and frame, and an unloaded weight of approximately 42 oz. Production is limited to small annual runs.
The hand-fit, match-grade bull barrel is bushingless and ported, paired with a full-length guide rod featuring a distinctive star-marked front screw. The single-action-only system includes an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety, with a curved, serrated trigger and a commander-style skeletonized hammer.
The tri-top slide features top serrations, top windows, and front lightening cuts, along with a lowered and flared ejection port. It is machined with an optic cut for the RMR footprint and comes fitted with a Trijicon SRO SR02 red dot using a 2.5 MOA dot reticle.
The double-stack design provides a 17+1 capacity and accepts STI/2011-pattern magazines. The textured metal grip module incorporates the Cabot shield crest inlay. Additional engineering highlights include the Cabot Advantage internal extractor and a full-length accessory rail for lights or other rail-mounted equipment.
