The Custom II GFO is a 10mm, single-action, full-size 1911 with a 5 inch bushing, non-threaded barrel and an approximate overall length of 8.7 inches. The slide and frame are steel with a matte black finish, and the dust cover is non-railed.
Sights are installed in dovetails and include a green fiber-optic front and a fixed square-notch rear with two white dots. The slide is cut with both front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered ejection port.
Controls and safeties include a left-side thumb safety, a grip safety with a memory pad, and the Series II Swartz-type firing pin block actuated by the grip safety. The pistol uses a skeletonized, three-hole trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
Grip features include checkered wood panels with Kimber medallions, a smooth front strap, and a flat, checkered mainspring housing. The pistol has an 8+1 capacity, a 1:16 twist rate, and comes with three steel single-stack magazines.
