The 4.62 in stainless barrel is cold hammer-forged with 8-groove rifling and a 1:16 RH twist, and it uses a separate, screw-secured ejector-rod housing with a crescent-style ejector-rod head.
The revolver operates in single-action-only and incorporates Ruger safety features including a transfer-bar safety and a loading-gate interlock. The wide, serrated-spur hammer and smooth trigger provide a positive, consistent feel.
Target-style iron sights include a ramped front blade and a fully adjustable, screw-adjustable square-notch rear. Varnished hardwood grip panels with bordered checkering and fleur-de-lis motifs add secure purchase and a refined look.
