The AK-V uses a straight blowback action tuned for 9mm Luger, paired with PSA's U9 pattern magazines for 35+1 capacity. PSA notes these mags are compatible with CZ Scorpion-pattern firearms, offering broad availability and flexibility.
The barrel is 9.75 inches long, made from 4150 steel, and finished in a durable nitride treatment. It is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a two-port brake secured by a jam-nut style collar.
Notable upgrades include a JL Billet aluminum M-LOK handguard with Picatinny segments for accessory placement, and an ALG-marked single-stage AK trigger that provides a clean, consistent pull. Controls include a paddle-style magazine release and a right-side charging handle.
Sighting is handled by an AK-style front tower with a hoodless front post and a fixed rear notch integrated into the hinged dust cover. The cover carries a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail. The rear of the receiver uses a 1913 Picatinny stock/brace interface block; no brace or stock is installed.
The stamped steel receiver maintains the AK-V's familiar durability. Additional details include S - A - F selector markings on the right side and a matching short serial "4469" electro-penciled on the bolt carrier cutout. Made in the United States.
