Built on a 7075‑T6 aluminum alloy frame with internal slide rails in the classic CZ‑75 pattern, the Shadow 2 Carry pairs a 4.0 in cold‑hammer‑forged barrel with a compact profile. Overall dimensions are 7.5 in L x 5.4 in H x 1.5 in W, with an empty weight of approximately 30.7 oz and a standard 15+1 capacity.
The DA/SA system uses a decocker, supported by a firing pin block and a hammer safety notch. Controls include a push‑button magazine release, a curved smooth‑face trigger, and a ring (commander‑style) hammer for confident manipulation.
The slide is cut with front and rear cocking serrations, an anti‑glare serrated rib, and a relief cut at the ejection port. It is optic‑ready with a cover plate installed and offers a direct‑mount interface for RMSc/Holosun‑K footprint micro‑dots. Sights are 3‑dot luminescent iron sights, with a front blade carrying a single dot and a body stamped "5.8," paired to a rear notch with two dots.
An integral Picatinny accessory rail with four slots is machined into the dust cover for lights or lasers. Markings include a CIP proof with "25" on the right side of the slide indicating the 2025 proof year, "Made in Czech Republic," and the CZ‑USA, Kansas City, KS import mark. Matching serial numbers are present on the frame, slide, and barrel hood.
