- Ruger MAX-9 Pro 9mm pistol
- 1x 10-round steel magazine with flush basepad
- 1x 12-round steel magazine with finger-rest extension basepad
- Kydex holster
The optics-ready slide uses the Shield RMSc/JPoint footprint, giving the pistol straightforward compatibility with popular micro reflex sights. Serrations at the front and rear aid manipulation, and the matte black, through-hardened alloy-steel slide provides durable wear resistance.
Sight configuration pairs a HIVIZ green tritium/fiber-optic front with a plain serrated U-notch rear that is drift-adjustable. This setup offers a bright front reference in varied lighting while keeping the rear sight uncluttered.
The Pro configuration omits an external manual safety while retaining essential passive safeties: a flat-faced trigger with an integrated safety blade and an internal striker block. There is no magazine disconnect, and frame markings indicate the pistol will fire with the magazine removed.
The glass-filled nylon frame houses a one-piece aluminum fire-control chassis for rigidity. The dust cover omits an accessory rail to maintain a smooth, compact profile. Molded grip texturing supports a secure hold without adding bulk.
Capacity is listed at 12+1, and this example includes two steel magazines to match different carry or range preferences—one flush 10-round and one 12-round with a finger-rest extension. The MAX-9 line launched in 2021 and earned the 2021 Industry Choice Awards Concealed Carry Pistol of the Year.
