This Texas Defender is an over/under, double-barrel derringer with a break-open action and a left-side locking lever. The 3 inch barrel set is clearly marked ".45LC /.410 2.5 IN." and "TEXAS DEFENDER," and the modular design accepts Bond Arms interchangeable barrels for caliber flexibility within the Bond Arms system.
Chambered for .45 Colt and .410 shotshells, the barrels use 2.5 inch chambers. An automatic spent-casing extractor speeds reloads, and the two-shot capacity keeps the platform compact while retaining the classic derringer profile.
The construction is stainless steel throughout with a matte/satin stainless finish for a clean, uniform look. It wears smooth dark wood grip panels and fixed sights consisting of an integral front blade and a fixed rear notch. Markings include "BOND ARMS, GRANBURY, TEXAS" on the barrel.
The break-open, single-action mechanism uses an external hammer and integrates practical safety features: a cross-bolt safety, rebounding hammer, and retracting firing pins. Sized as a micro derringer, it offers a sturdy stainless build in a highly compact footprint.
