The Carry-length configuration pairs a 4.2 inch bushing barrel with a GI-style recoil spring plug for a classic 1911 setup. The non-railed dust cover keeps the profile streamlined, while the full-size 1911 grip frame accepts standard 8-round magazines.
Controls and ergonomics are purpose-built: single-action only operation, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a raised memory pad. A skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer support a crisp, responsive feel. The checkered mainspring housing and wraparound finger-groove rubber grips provide secure purchase.
Sights are fixed 3-dot with dovetailed front and rear units, giving a clear, durable sight picture. The slide uses rear cocking serrations only for a clean, traditional look consistent with the 1911 platform.
Made in the USA, this example carries the Exeter, NH frame marking from the pre-Newington era. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and it comes with two stainless magazines equipped with bumper pads.
