The 18.5 inch barrel is plain and non-vent-rib with a single front bead and no rear sight. The muzzle shows no visible choke-tube threads. Barrel markings read '12GA. 2 3/4" OR 3"' and 'REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY ILION, NY.'
