The 17C is the compensated variant of the Glock 17, featuring a ported slide and a ported 4.49-inch barrel with matched ports. This Gen 3, full-size 9mm Luger configuration offers a 17+1 capacity and retains the classic Glock layout and controls.
Construction is robust and duty-oriented, with a nitrided steel slide and barrel in matte black over a matte black polymer frame. The slide uses rear-only serrations, and the frame has Glock's Gen 3 finger-groove grip. A Glock universal rail with a single slot is integrated on the dust cover.
Sights are fixed Glock polymer units with a white-dot front and a white-outline rear. The pistol uses Glock's short-recoil, locked-breech Safe Action system. It is striker-fired with a trigger safety and an integrated safety tab, and it has a standard magazine release.
Origin and markings include Austrian manufacture with a U.S. importer marking. The slide is marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA., AUSTRIA." The frame, slide, and barrel carry matching serial numbers, consistent with factory configuration.
