- HK Mark 23 .45 ACP pistol
- Two 10-round steel-bodied magazines with witness holes
- Factory thread protector installed
Developed from the USSOCOM Offensive Handgun Weapon System program, the Mark 23 is built for durability and precision. Proofed in Germany and imported by HKI (Columbus, GA), it carries DE and CIP N markings. The one-piece machined steel slide and fiber-reinforced polymer frame are finished in black and engineered for long service life.
The 5.87 in extended, threaded barrel is cold hammer forged with polygonal rifling and an O-ring to promote consistent barrel-to-slide lockup. A factory thread protector is installed, and the factory thread spec is commonly M16×1 RH. With an approximate 9.65 in overall length and a sight radius around 7.76 in, the platform emphasizes practical accuracy.
Controls are set up for duty-grade use: DA/SA short-recoil system with a separate decocking lever and a manual safety that permits cocked-and-locked carry. The ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, extended slide stop, and oversized/squared trigger guard support easy manipulation. High-profile 3-dot iron sights include a fixed front blade and a rear adjustable for windage and elevation (retained by a screw).
Designed to interface with a suppressor and an aiming module, the frame features proprietary universal accessory grooves. SOCOM testing reported 30,000+ rounds of +P endurance, approximately 6,000 MRBS, and 1.44 in average accuracy at 25 m. This pistol ships with two 10-round magazines for a 10+1 capacity on board.
