The MK2 variant adds front slide serrations and high-profile, adjustable iron sights. The front blade is serrated with a white dot, and the rear sight adjusts for windage and elevation for a clear, precise sight picture.
The 4.8-inch barrel is chrome-lined and cold-hammer-forged. Paired with delayed-blowback, single-action operation, this setup supports smooth function with the 5.7x28mm cartridge.
The slide uses a steel core enclosed by a polymer shell, with front and rear serrations, an external extractor, and a top-mounted chamber-status indicator pin. A MIL-STD-1913 rail on the dust cover provides space for compatible accessories.
The full-size black polymer frame features integral grip checkering with the FN logo. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety and a single-action trigger. Capacity is 20+1 with the included magazines.
Markings and origin are clearly presented, including "FN HERSTAL BELGIUM" on the slide, barrel hood proof marks, and the importer "FNH USA, Fredericksburg, VA."
