The full-size 1911 platform here features a stainless-steel frame and slide finished in black Nitron, delivering the signature "Nightmare" two-tone look with natural stainless small parts. The frame is rollmarked EXETER-NH-USA and the dust cover is non-railed. Front strap and mainspring housing checkering pair with black G10 double-diamond grips bearing the SIG SAUER logo for a secure, consistent hold.
The Government-length 5.0-inch match-grade barrel is matched to a slide with a flat-top and longitudinal serrations, rear cocking serrations only, a lowered and flared ejection port, and an external extractor. The black Nitron slide finish complements the pistol’s durable stainless construction.
Controls are single-action only with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety. A skeletonized, three-hole trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the control set. Low-profile, dovetailed SIGLITE tritium 3-dot night sights provide a clear, familiar sight picture, with a single-dot front blade and a square-notch two-dot rear.
