The magnum/long-action configuration is chambered in .300 PRC and feeds from AICS-pattern 3.850 inch CIP-length magazines, offering a 5+1 capacity. A three-lug bolt with a 70° throw and an ambidextrous AR-style safety selector contribute to a familiar, efficient manual of arms. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is externally adjustable.
The 26 inch chrome-moly steel barrel is heavy contour, cold hammer-forged with 5R rifling and a 1:9 RH twist. It is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with a Ruger-branded multi-chamber muzzle brake. The barrel is fully free-floated inside an 18 inch aluminum M-LOK handguard. A 30 MOA Picatinny top rail is mounted on the receiver.
The rifle’s folding chassis is left-folding and highly adjustable, with length-of-pull, cheekpiece, and buttpad height adjustments plus a bag-rider. It is equipped with a Ruger-branded AR-pattern polymer pistol grip. Length of pull is listed at 13.0 inches (adjustable).
The chrome-moly steel receiver is marked "RUGER PRECISION" and "NEWPORT, NH, USA." The serial number markings on the receiver and bolt match. Overall length is approximately 49.25 inches unfolded and about 37.6 inches folded; factory weight is approximately 15 lb.
