Built as a competition-focused Government-size 1911, this Custom Shop Limited model combines a brushed stainless frame and slide with a 5-inch National Match stainless barrel and NM-marked bushing. The barrel hood is stamped "COLT 45 AUTO NM" and the bushing is stamped "7267718" with "NM," underscoring factory-fitted match components and attention to fit.
The slide is marked "LIMITED" and carries front and rear slanted cocking serrations plus full-length top anti-glare serrations. Inside, it retains the Series 70 firing system without a firing-pin block, and runs in classic single-action. A long solid trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer round out the fire-control setup.
Controls and ergonomics are competition oriented: an extended left-side thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, 25 LPI checkering on the front strap, and a checkered mainspring housing. A fully blended magazine well funnel speeds reloads while maintaining a clean profile on the non-railed frame.
Sighting is fast and precise with a red fiber-optic front sight matched to a fully adjustable Bomar-style target rear. The pistol uses textured multi-color G10 laminate grip panels for traction.
