The Kuna centers on a fixed, cold radial hammer-forged barrel treated with Melonite. It measures 6 inches in length, is threaded 1/2x28, and comes fitted with a multi-port brake. The fixed barrel complements the roller-delayed blowback action for consistent performance with 9mm Luger.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety, paddle-style magazine release, and bolt release. A folding, reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle is mounted forward on the left side of the upper for efficient manipulation. The lower is polymer with an AR-pattern textured pistol grip, while the upper is a monolithic aluminum unit with M-LOK slots.
Sighting equipment consists of hybrid flip-up metal sights: a circular hooded front and a rear that converts between aperture and U-notch. The upper features a full-length numbered Picatinny top rail, and the rear end plate integrates a Picatinny section for compatible accessories.
