The nitro-carburized steel slide wears HK's hostile environment finish for enhanced surface hardness and corrosion resistance. Operation is via a short-recoil, tilting-barrel, locked-breech system.
The fiber-reinforced polymer frame incorporates a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail and HK's modular grip system with interchangeable backstrap and side panels to tune fit.
