The Staccato P4 HD is a recent U.S.-made release from Staccato’s HD series introduced in 2025, combining a 4 in bull, fluted barrel with a robust 4140 steel frame and a high-capacity 18+1 9mm layout. It features a slide optics cut with cover plate and the HOST direct-mount optic interface, fixed iron sights with a high-visibility front dot, and an HD-spec fully captive flat-wire recoil system. An aggressive grip module with flared magwell and compatibility with Glock-pattern magazines round out a modern, duty-forward 1911 platform.

The P4 HD is built on a steel 1911-style platform with a 4140 steel frame and a 4 in bull, fluted barrel, pairing durability with controlled recoil. The lowered ejection port supports reliable case clearance, while the fully captive flat-wire recoil system (HD spec) is tuned for consistent cycling in this HD configuration.
Ergonomics center on an aggressive textured grip module with a flared magwell for confident handling and fast reloads. The single-action, curved, skeletonized trigger provides a familiar 1911 control scheme, complemented by a thumb safety and firing pin block. The design deletes the grip safety in favor of a high beavertail/tang.
The slide includes wrap-over serrations front and rear for positive manipulation. It is machined with an optics cut and ships with a cover plate, and incorporates Staccato’s HOST direct-mount optic interface. Fixed iron sights feature a front post with a yellow/green dot and a fixed rear.
Capacity is 18+1 in 9mm Luger, and this example includes three 18-round steel magazines. The platform is also compatible with Glock-pattern magazines, offering flexible magazine options when needed.
A three-slot M1913 accessory rail is integrated into the dustcover for mounting mission-critical equipment. Made in the USA, the P4 HD is part of Staccato’s first wave of HD pistols introduced for 2025.
