This example includes one 8-round magazine and retains the traditional look and feel of a GI-style .45.

This GI Standard FS follows the classic Government-length 1911 format with a 5-inch barrel, full-size frame, and 8+1 capacity. The Series 70, single-action, recoil-operated design provides the traditional 1911 firing system without a firing pin safety, keeping the operation straightforward and true to GI configuration.
The slide and frame are machined from 4140 steel and finished in black parkerizing for a uniform, duty-style appearance. The slide carries Rock Island Armory crest roll marks. Import and proof markings include APINTL-PAHRUMP NV and ACP PHILIPPINES, and the pistol is made in the Philippines.
Controls are set up in the familiar GI style: a left-side thumb safety, a grip safety, and a standard left-side magazine release. It uses a short, solid trigger and a spur hammer, complemented by an arched mainspring housing for a traditional 1911 grip profile.
The sighting system is GI-correct with a staked front blade and a fixed rear notch. The slide has rear cocking serrations only and a standard, non-lowered ejection port, aligning with the GI Standard configuration.
This pistol comes with a single-stack 8-round .45 ACP magazine featuring witness holes numbered 2–8 and a basepad. Capacity is 8+1 when topped off, matching the classic 1911 format.
