The Colt Delta Elite Series 80 is a stainless-steel, full-size 1911 chambered in 10mm. This second-generation model (O2020) delivers the classic Government-length format with Colt Series 80 safety features and fixed 3-dot sights. Built in 2013 in the USA, it combines the proven 1911 platform with the power of 10mm Auto in a durable brushed/matte stainless finish.

This Delta Elite is a stainless Government Model 1911 chambered in 10mm, offering a 5-inch barrel and full-size frame for classic handling and sight radius. It is a second-generation production variant, made in 2013, and marked with the proper Delta Elite and Government Model slide legends.
The slide and frame wear a brushed/matte stainless finish, with rear cocking serrations and a non-railed dustcover. It uses a standard GI recoil spring plug and barrel bushing system, true to traditional 1911 construction. Overall length is approximately 8.5 inches.
Controls and safeties include a left-side manual thumb safety, an upswept duckbill grip safety, and the Series 80 firing pin safety. It features a solid, non-skeletonized trigger and a Commander-style rowel hammer, along with fixed 3-dot sights (white-dot front blade and two-dot square-notch rear) for a clear sight picture.
Grip panels are black checkered synthetic with red Delta medallions. The barrel hood is marked 10mm, and the slide carries factory rollmarks: "DELTA ELITE / COLT 10mm AUTO" on the left and "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL / 10mm SEMI-AUTO" on the right. Built in the USA, the Delta Elite line holds a place in handgun history as the first widely produced 10mm Auto pistol from a major manufacturer.
