Created by the Colt Custom Shop, this Rail Gun is part of the documented CSRG-prefix limited run from 2015. Total production was 130 units, and 100 of those were shipped to Bill Hicks & Co. Colt's records confirm the run, and the factory paperwork included with this pistol provides additional provenance.
The pistol uses black nitride–coated stainless steel for the slide and frame, pairing durability with a low-glare finish. It features a Government-length 5" barrel with a standard bushing and a full-size railed frame with a four-slot Picatinny dustcover. The setup is single-action with an 8+1 capacity.
Controls and ergonomics include a checkered front strap and a flat, checkered mainspring housing, a checkered magazine release, a single-side thumb safety, and a grip safety. The long, solid, aluminum, smooth-faced trigger and skeletonized spur hammer provide a clean, purposeful control layout. Red/black G10 double-diamond checkered grips complete the package.
The slide is finished with front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/relieved ejection port. Sights are a dovetailed front blade with a white dot and an adjustable rear combat sight with a serrated face, offering a crisp sight picture.
Included factory test documentation shows a five-shot group under 1 inch at 15 yards using 230gr FMJ (1/16/2015). The pistol carries the O1070RGZ part number and was made in the USA, with Custom Shop and roll-mark details that collectors will recognize.
