This AM-15 uses a direct impingement action and a 16" barrel with a 1:8 twist, giving it broad compatibility with common 5.56 NATO loads. The barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor.
The upper is a slick-side flat-top design with a dust cover and no forward assist. A Picatinny-top carbine gas block complements the carbine-length, two-piece ribbed polymer handguard.
Furniture includes an Anderson-branded 6-position collapsible stock and a B5 Systems polymer pistol grip, both in black. The stock offers an approximate length of pull from 10 to 13.5 inches.
The rifle features a selector safety and a matte black finish across the receiver and components. It accepts STANAG magazines and has a 30+1 capacity. One 30-round Magpul PMAG GEN M2 MOE is included.
