The SCAR 17S RCH is a 7.62x51 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around a short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt. Its 16.25-inch steel barrel is threaded and currently fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake. The chambering is compatible with .308 Winchester, providing broad ammunition flexibility.
This RCH configuration uses a reciprocating charging handle on the left side with an enhanced, oversized knob for confident manipulation. Controls include a manual, ambidextrous safety selector. Folding front and rear iron sights are installed, and a full-length numbered MIL-STD-1913 top rail (positions ~1–41) provides space for mounting accessories.
Ergonomics are a strong point: the folding, telescoping stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece, length-of-pull detents, and a rubber buttpad, with LOP adjustable from 12.25 to 14.25 inches.
