This first-generation Springfield Armory XD-S 3.3 in .45 ACP is a compact, striker-fired pistol built by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory. It features a 3.3-inch hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel, a forged steel slide with Black Melonite finish, and practical carry-focused details. It comes with two 7-round extended magazines, two 5-round compact magazines, and a G.P.S. soft pistol case.

The XD-S 3.3 is a micro-size, single-stack design in .45 ACP with a striker-fired action. This example bears the "MADE IN CROATIA" and "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A." import markings, reflecting production by HS Produkt with Springfield Armory importation.
Its 3.3-inch steel barrel is hammer-forged and Melonite-treated with a 1:16 twist, paired to a forged steel slide finished in Black Melonite. A dual captive recoil spring system with a full-length guide rod supports reliable operation in a compact format.
Controls and safety features include an ambidextrous magazine release, a grip safety, a trigger safety, and a top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator integrated into the slide. A single-slot accessory rail provides space for a compact light or similar rail-mounted accessory.
Sight configuration consists of a red fiber-optic front sight and a low-profile rear sight, both set in dovetails. The black polymer frame features aggressive texturing for a secure grasp.
Capacity is 7+1, and this pistol comes with two 7-round extended magazines and two 5-round compact magazines. This pistol falls within the August 2013 Springfield voluntary safety recall range for certain 3.3-inch XD-S pistols.
