The Daniel Defense DD PCC 916 is a purpose-built 9mm AR-pattern carbine with dedicated shortened receivers, a straight-blowback system using a hydraulic buffer, and fully ambidextrous controls. It pairs a 16 inch cold hammer forged S2W heavy-profile barrel with a DD4 13.5 inch free-float M-LOK handguard and a continuous T-marked top rail. Capacity is 35+1 and it accepts CZ Scorpion–pattern magazines. Made in the USA.

Built specifically for pistol-caliber duty, the DD PCC 916 uses dedicated shortened receivers and a slick-side upper without a forward assist. The action is straight blowback and incorporates a hydraulic buffer, and the rifle features fully ambidextrous controls, including an ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous DD GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, and an ambidextrous push-button magazine release positioned forward of the trigger guard.
The 16 inch barrel is cold hammer forged with a heavy S2W profile and a 1:10 twist. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with an open-slot flash hider.
The aluminum DD4 13.5 inch free-float handguard provides M-LOK slots with a continuous T-marked top rail (T1–T25). A polymer vertical foregrip is mounted to the included M-LOK Picatinny section, and an additional M-LOK Picatinny accessory rail section is installed on the handguard.
Magazine compatibility is CZ Scorpion–pattern, including the Magpul PMAG 35 EV9, and this rifle ships with one 35-round magazine for a 35+1 capacity. Receiver markings include "MODEL DDPCC" and "CAL. 9X19".
Ergonomics include a telescoping stock with a rubberized buttpad and textured panels, plus a textured polymer pistol grip. Overall length is 32–35.25 inches with a 12.25 inch length of pull, and weight is approximately 7.05 lb. Country of origin is USA.
