This G40 is a factory long-slide 10mm built on the Gen4 frame, featuring the Rough Texture Frame with interchangeable backstraps for grip fit. It retains the reversible magazine catch and Glock Safe Action system, and includes the Glock Universal accessory rail with a single cross-slot.
The slide is machined with the MOS cut and arrives with the cover plate installed. The pistol ships with the Glock MOS Adapter-Set 02 for mounting compatible optics. Factory sights include a polymer white-dot front and an adjustable white-outline rear with windage and elevation screws.
The nitrided steel barrel measures 6.02 in and uses polygonal rifling with a 1:9.84 RH twist. The extended slide and barrel yield an 8.31 in sight radius.
Chambered in 10mm Auto, the standard capacity is 15+1. Three factory 15-round magazines are included. The pistol is made in Austria, with Austrian proof marks on the barrel hood and frame markings reading "MADE IN AUSTRIA / GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." This model is discontinued by Glock.
