This Heritage Commemorative showcases factory-applied gold-inlaid commemorative scrollwork. The left barrel lug carries the gold-scroll legend 'The Colt Heritage Commemorative,' while the right lug features two oval gold portrait medallions. The cylinder is roll-engraved with the classic 'Ranger and Indian fight' scene and a framed 'COLT'S PATENT' panel.
It retains hallmark Walker construction and finishes: a blued steel barrel and six-shot cylinder, with a color case-hardened steel frame, hammer, and loading lever. The trigger guard and front strap are brass, paired with a steel backstrap. A one-piece walnut grip with 'G.G.P.' cartouche completes the period-correct profile.
The 9-inch part-octagonal barrel includes a loading lever beneath. Period-style markings appear on the top flat as 'ADDRESS. SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY.' The wedge is retained from the left side with the screw on the right, and the revolver uses fixed sights with a blade front and hammer-notch rear.
