The FN 509 Tactical is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm built for versatility and performance. This example adds a factory 1/2x28 threaded, cold hammer-forged stainless barrel and FN's Low-Profile Optics Mounting System paired with an installed Burris FastFire 3 red dot. Suppressor-height sights co-witness with the MRD, and the package includes both 24-round and 17-round magazines. It is assembled and marked in Columbia, South Carolina, USA.

The FN 509 Tactical delivers a feature-rich 9mm platform with a 4.5 in cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel that is factory threaded 1/2x28. The barrel includes a recessed crown and an O-ringed thread cap to secure the protector when a muzzle device is not installed.
FN's Low-Profile Optics Mounting System integrates with the optic-cut slide, and the suppressor-height iron sights are designed to co-witness with the mounted red dot. Sights are a white dot front and tall notch rear for a clear, elevated sight picture.
This pistol comes equipped with a Burris FastFire 3 micro red dot. Burris Fast Fire III Red 1 MOA Dot installed. The package is set up for immediate MRD use with co-witnessed irons.
The full-size polymer frame features aggressive grip texturing with interchangeable backstraps and ambidextrous slide stop levers. An integral Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 rail on the dustcover supports accessories. The gun is striker-fired with a trigger safety, finished in black, and assembled/marked in Columbia, South Carolina, USA.
Capacity is 24+1 with the extended magazine, and a 17-round magazine is also included. This configuration offers a high-capacity, threaded-barrel tactical setup with installed MRD and co-witnessed irons.
