Built on Diamondback's AR-15 platform, the DB15 uses a direct-impingement gas system paired with a 16-inch barrel and a threaded muzzle fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash hider. It is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and feeds from STANAG-pattern magazines, offering a 30+1 capacity.
The rifle uses 7075-T6 aluminum receivers. The flat-top A3-style upper includes a forward assist, case deflector, and an ejection-port cover marked "5.56 NATO." The lower is marked "DIAMONDBACK FIREARMS, LLC – COCOA, FL USA" and "CAL. MULTI – DB15" with the DB shield logo.
A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides mounting versatility and incorporates a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail over the receiver and handguard. A low-profile gas block sits under the handguard. This configuration does not include sights.
Furniture and controls are practical and familiar: a collapsible multi-position carbine stock, a Magpul MOE pistol grip, a right-side magazine release, and a left-side safety selector. The rifle is made in the USA.
