This VEPR is marked "MADE IN RUSSIA" and "VEPR, cal. .308 Win." and includes S and F selector markings. Additional observed markings include "ZDF SLC UT," a circular PC emblem with "SA01" beneath, and numeric markings including "040" and "9040."
The rifle uses a stamped receiver and shows the prominent front trunnion bulge consistent with reinforced, RPK-type receiver geometry (profile observation). It is fitted with a wood thumbhole buttstock and wood handguard, both featuring checkered grip panels, along with a rubber buttpad embossed "ВЕПРЬ."
Sighting is handled by AK-pattern open irons, including a front sight post protected by ears and a tangent rear sight with a graduated leaf and sliding adjustment block. A rear sling swivel is present.
