Built on the AKM platform, this GP WASR-10/63 uses a semi-automatic, gas-operated, long-stroke piston action. The receiver is stamped sheet metal with rivet construction and riveted trunnions, consistent with classic AKM-style builds.
The handguard is a CHAOS U.S.A. railed system, providing a railed forend configuration while retaining the AK-pattern layout. The rifle also has a fixed synthetic (polymer) buttstock with a metal buttplate and a rear sling attachment point, along with a synthetic (polymer) pistol grip featuring a finger-groove profile and a molded emblem.
Sighting is handled by open iron sights, including an AK-pattern adjustable front post with protective ears and an AK-pattern tangent rear leaf sight with range graduations marked with P and numerals.
Markings include a Romanian triangle-with-arrow factory-style emblem on the front trunnion, and the rifle is marked "GP" and "WASR-10/63" with "Cal 7.62x39mm" on the receiver. The front trunnion marking reads 1986 RC 4551.
