It features a 20" stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist, a flat-top Picatinny upper receiver, and a long cylindrical handguard with a short top rail segment near the front. It ships with a Magpul PMAG 20 AR/M4 GEN M3 20-round magazine.

The lower receiver is marked "ANDERSON MANUFACTURING / HEBRON, KY / AM-15 / MULTI CAL" and this rifle is built on a matte black receiver set. The configuration includes a fixed polymer stock and an A2-style pistol grip, along with SAFE/FIRE selector markings.
Up top, the flat-top Picatinny upper receiver provides a full-length mounting surface, and the rifle includes an ejection port dust cover and a forward assist. No sights are installed, and no rear sight is visible.
The 20" stainless-finish barrel is marked "5.56 Nato 1-8 SS" and pairs with a direct impingement action. The long cylindrical handguard includes a short Picatinny rail segment near the front and a front sling loop attachment point.
This AM-15 is set up with AR-15 standard controls and a 20+1 capacity with the included 20-round magazine. The listed length of pull is 13.5.
