Built on a stainless steel frame with a satin stainless finish, this GP100 is configured with a full-length underlug and a grooved/serrated rib. The swing-out cylinder opens to the left and is a 6-charge-hole (6-shot) design.
The action is double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer, and it uses Ruger’s transfer bar safety system. Sighting is handled by iron sights, including a ramp-style front sight and an adjustable rear sight.
Factory-style black rubber one-piece grips with finger grooves and a Ruger medallion provide a secure hold. The barrel also carries multi-line warning/manufacturer/address text on the left side (not fully legible).
