The XD 4" Compact .45 ACP combines a compact-length 4-inch, hammer-forged barrel with a durable stainless slide over an OD-green polymer frame. Its two-tone configuration delivers a distinctive look alongside the XD series' proven design and ergonomics.
This striker-fired pistol includes an ambidextrous magazine release and multiple passive safety features: a grip safety, trigger safety, loaded chamber indicator, and striker status indicator. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and an integral accessory rail supports common weapon-mounted lights.
Factory 3-dot sights with white dots front and rear provide a clear sight picture. The package includes four magazines—one 12-round extended and three 10-round—supporting a 12+1 capacity with the 12-round magazine. An adhesive grip wrap is installed on the frame for added traction.
Internally, the dual captive recoil spring with a full-length guide rod supports the 4-inch .45 ACP system. Markings include "SPRINGFIELD, INC.
