It ships with both 17- and 15-round factory magazines and features U-Dot iron sights for fast alignment.

The compact Echelon 4.0C U-Dot pairs a 4.0 in hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel with a striker-fired, short-recoil system and a flat-faced trigger featuring a central safety blade. Factory dimensions list 7.25 in overall length, 5.125 in height, a 1.2 in grip width, and a weight of 24 oz.
U-Dot iron sights combine a tritium/luminescent front dot with a U-notch tactical rack rear for a clear, rapid sight picture. The slide is billet-machined steel with front and rear serrations and a black Melonite finish.
The VIS direct-mount optics interface comes with the cover plate installed, allowing the owner to add an optic using the included mounting hardware if desired. A 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail is molded into the frame for lights or lasers.
The polymer frame has aggressive texturing and interchangeable backstraps to fit the hand. Controls include fully ambidextrous slide stop levers and a left-side push-button magazine release. The removable serialized stainless-steel chassis (Central Operating Group) simplifies maintenance and configuration.
This pistol is manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory. Import marks read "HS PRODUKT MADE IN CROATIA." The factory box label matches the pistol’s serial.
