It has been custom-fitted with an aftermarket Boyds laminated hardwood stock and includes a mounted Whitetail Classic 2–7x32 scope, creating a handy, ready-to-use package with period-correct character.

The receiver is marked Remington Model 600, and the barrel date code WDL decodes to August 1964. The Model 600 was produced from 1964 to 1967, with approximately 94,000 made, placing this example at the beginning of the production run.
The 18.5 inch blued barrel incorporates a recessed crown and no ventilated rib, and the rifle is configured without iron sights. It uses an internal 4-round box magazine paired with a one-piece synthetic trigger guard and floorplate.
It is chambered in 6mm Remington, the later name for .244 Remington, and operates via a bolt-action system with the model’s recognizable forward-swept dog-leg bolt handle.
Custom touches include an aftermarket Boyds laminated hardwood stock with a Monte Carlo comb, a Boyds rubber buttpad, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches. A Whitetail Classic 2–7x32 scope is mounted, providing a clear, practical sighting solution.
