The GForce Arms Jawbone Hybrid brings a distinctive hybrid receiver, forward left-side charging system, and a compact 5 inch threaded barrel to the AR-9 format. Built with an aluminum upper and handguard over a polymer over-molded lower with an internal aluminum structure, this U.S.-made pistol pairs ambidextrous controls with Glock-pattern magazine compatibility and a full-length Picatinny top rail, all in a lightweight, brace-equipped package.

The Jawbone Hybrid’s receiver system combines an anodized aluminum upper and handguard with a polymer over-molded lower that incorporates an internal aluminum structure. This design keeps weight around 5 lb while maintaining rigidity and durability. Overall length is approximately 20.75 inches, and the pistol wears a black finish throughout.
Its operating system is a semi-automatic blowback AR-9 layout with a forward, left-side charging handle. The handle’s exposed recoil spring is visible through a relief cut in the upper, offering a unique mechanical look and straightforward manipulation. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety and an ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release, plus a bolt hold-open.
The 5 inch 4140 steel barrel is nitrided and threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle device compatibility. An aluminum handguard with M-LOK slots provides straightforward mounting points along the fore-end. The top of the pistol features a full-length, uninterrupted Picatinny rail, and it ships from the factory without sights.
