The slide is rollmarked "RUGER P89" and includes the slide-mounted ambidextrous control levers that define the manual-safety setup on this model.
The pistol features an aluminum alloy frame and black ribbed synthetic grip panels with molded "RUGER" and a Ruger phoenix/eagle medallion. A lanyard loop is present at the heel of the grip, adding a practical retention point for those who prefer it.
