This Marlin Model 57 Levermatic is a USA-made lever-action rifle chambered in .22 WMR and built during the 1959-1969 era. It features Marlin Micro-Groove rifling, a 24" barrel, and an under-barrel tubular magazine with a knurled end cap. This example is fitted with a mounted Bushnell Sportview 4x 15mm riflescope while still retaining its iron sights.

Marked "THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A." on the barrel/receiver, this rifle is also marked "Marlin Model 57" and "CAL. 22 MAGNUM." It is a Model 57 Levermatic, a distinct Marlin lever-action design, and this example is noted as collectible.
The 24" barrel is paired with Micro-Groove rifling, and the rifle feeds from an under-barrel tubular magazine. Capacity is listed at 14 rounds.
For sighting options, it includes iron sights with a hooded front sight and a barrel-mounted rear sight in a folding/leaf-style configuration. A scope mount is present, and the included Bushnell Sportview 4x optic is currently installed.
