Up front, it wears a KAC URX 3.1 free-float aluminum handguard with large circular lightening holes and a continuous top Picatinny rail. The handguard is marked "KNIGHTARMCO.COM" and "13.5", matching the listed 13.5-inch rail length.
The upper is a flat-top with a Picatinny rail and is equipped with folding iron sights, including a folding front sight and folding rear sight. The muzzle is fitted with an open-prong flash-hider-style device with a collar behind it.
