This AR-556 features typical AR-15 pattern controls and receiver features, including a flat-top upper with a Picatinny top rail, forward assist, and ejection-port dust cover. The safety selector is marked SAFE/FIRE.
The rifle is fitted with a free-float style M-LOK pattern aluminum handguard with skeletonized/vented cutouts. A short Picatinny rail section is attached to the handguard and is marked "USA".
For sighting, it includes iron sights with a folding rear iron sight mounted to the receiver top rail (brand not legible). The muzzle is equipped with a cylindrical multi-port muzzle brake/compensator in place of an A2-style device.
The stock is a collapsible Magpul buttstock with a listed length of pull of 13.25. The pistol grip is an AR-15 pattern grip with branding not visible. The receiver is forged aluminum, and the finish is a camouflage pattern.
