Browning Citori 825 Sporting 12 Gauge Over/Under, 30 inch Barrels, Silver Nitride Receiver, Invector-DS Extended Chokes
The Browning Citori 825 Sporting is a purpose-built 12 gauge over/under with 30 inch matte blued barrels, a low-profile silver nitride steel receiver, and a feature set tailored for clays. This example includes the Invector-DS extended choke system with a full sporting set, HiViz Pro-Comp front sight with ivory mid-bead, and a mechanical single-selective trigger with the Triple Trigger System for adjustable reach. Right-hand ergonomics include a palm swell and slight cast-off for a confident mount.
The steel barrels use ventilated top and side ribs for rapid heat dissipation and a flat, consistent sighting plane. The receiver is finished in durable silver nitride and marked CITORI SPECIAL STEEL. Manufacture is by Miroku in Japan, with proof and origin markings including NP, SP, 3F, MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU, and MORGAN, UT.
Controls are straightforward and competition-focused: tang-mounted safety with barrel selector and a mechanical, single-selective, gold-plated trigger. The trigger system combines Browning’s Fire Lite 2 design with the Triple Trigger System to fine-tune trigger reach to the shooter.
Sighting is fast and precise thanks to the HiViz Pro-Comp green fiber-optic front paired with an ivory mid-bead. The Invector-DS extended choke system comes with five tubes — SK, IC, M, IM, and F — covering a wide range of sporting presentations.
The gloss oil-finished walnut stock features checkering, a right-hand palm swell, slight right-hand cast-off, and a beavertail forend. An Inflex II recoil pad completes the fit, and length of pull measures 14.75 inches. Chambers are cut for both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells.
Condition
Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: The recoil pad shows some wear and a small scuff on the left side of the buttstock. Barrel fit is very tight with approximately 99% life remaining in the locking lug. Ejectors are correctly timed.
