The Springfield Armory RO Elite Compact is a purpose-built, compact 1911 in .45 ACP featuring a 4" stainless match-grade bull barrel with a fully supported ramp and a forged lightweight alloy frame. It wears a durable Black-T finish on both slide and frame and includes an ambidextrous safety, Gen 2 skeletonized trigger, and thin-line G10 grips. The pistol is equipped with a fiber-optic front sight and a low-profile tactical rack rear. Part of the RO Elite series introduced in 2017, this example offers a balanced feature set in a carry-friendly size.

This RO Elite Compact centers on a 4" stainless match-grade bull barrel with a fully supported ramp, delivering precise lockup and robust chamber support in a compact format. The flat-wire captive recoil spring system pairs with a full-length guide rod and reverse plug.
The forged steel slide and forged lightweight alloy frame both feature a Black-T finish. The slide includes rear cocking serrations and a lowered and flared ejection port.
Controls are classic single-action with an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized rowel-style hammer. A Gen 2 skeletonized, lightened trigger and thin-line G10 grips round out the handling package.
Target-focused sights include a fiber-optic front and a low-profile tactical rack rear with a white dot. Capacity is 7+1. Made in the USA, this pistol is part of the RO Elite series introduced in 2017.
