Chambered in .44 Rem Magnum, this single-action-only, gate-loaded revolver uses a fluted six-shot cylinder and a steel 12-inch barrel. The barrel is fitted with an under-barrel ejector housing and a crescent/knurled ejector button, true to the series design.
The finish combines a high-polish blued barrel and cylinder with a color case-hardened steel frame. Two-piece smooth walnut grip panels complete the classic presentation while maintaining a solid, period-correct look.
Sighting equipment consists of a ramped front sight on a base and an adjustable square-notch rear sight pinned to the topstrap. The long 12-inch barrel enhances the already generous sight radius provided by the adjustable rear.
Factory engraving on the grip-frame butt includes the coiled snake and "DON'T TREAD ON ME" inscription associated with early-series examples circa 1976–1978. Markings include "VIRGINIAN DRAGOON CAL. 44 MAGNUM" on the left side of the barrel, "INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA, U.S.A." on the barrel top, and the frame patent "PAT. NO. 3,803,741 / DATE APR.
16, 1974" with the Interarms sunburst logo. Reported manufacture year is 1978, and country of origin is the United States.
