WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Winchester Model 03 semi-automatic rifle
Built around a blowback action, the Model 03 is a historically significant Winchester self-loading rimfire rifle and is receiver-marked for its proprietary chambering: ".22 CAL. AUTOMATIC." The receiver also carries the "-WINCHESTER-" and trade mark registration markings, with additional manufacturer and patent markings on the barrel.
This example is configured with a wood buttstock and wood fore-end, a straight-grip stock profile, and a slim fore-end with a metal fore-end cap. It also has a metal buttplate and a visible takedown/retention screw at the rear upper tang.
Sight equipment is a straightforward open iron setup with a barrel-mounted front blade and a barrel-mounted rear open sight using a stepped/elevator-style arrangement. The 20" round barrel and classic sighting arrangement keep the rifle true to the standard/plain configuration described.
Feeding is via a buttstock-housed tubular magazine, loaded through a right-side buttstock loading port with an inletted metal loading gate/cover. Capacity is stated as 10 rounds.
