The H9’s steel frame and slide are finished in matte black and feature checkering on the frontstrap and backstrap, a beveled magazine well, and a beavertail-style tang for consistent grip purchase. An integral single-slot dust-cover rail provides space for a light or accessory, while diagonal front and rear cocking serrations and top anti-glare serrations aid manipulation and sight alignment.
The sighting setup pairs a Trijicon HD tritium front sight with an orange ring and a black serrated square-notch rear sight. A 6.26 in sight radius supports precise aiming without distraction. Markings include “H9” on the slide and “9x19” on the barrel.
Controls are well thought out for varied users and carry methods, with ambidextrous slide releases and a reversible magazine release. The striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech system is matched to a straight 1911-style trigger with approximately 0.115 in travel and an integrated trigger safety.
Dimensionally, the H9 is a full-size pistol with a 4.28 in barrel, 7.625 in overall length, 5.225 in height, and 1.24 in width, weighing 34 oz unloaded. Capacity is stated at 17+1, and this example includes both 17-round and 15-round factory magazines for flexibility at the range or in rotation.
