This example also includes installed mounting hardware on the receiver and a Picatinny-style rail section on the underside of the fore-end.

Specific Condition Notes: The rifle shows scuffs and wear. There is a chip on the pistol grip. The buttplate does not fit correctly. A Picatinny rail is mounted on the forend. The rear sight is missing its buckhorn and elevator.
The rifle seems to function well.

Marked on the barrel as a Model 336W Micro-Groove Barrel in .30/30 Win, this rifle is built around Marlin's side-ejecting receiver and an under-barrel tubular magazine that runs toward the muzzle. A barrel band is present at the fore-end/magazine area.
The sighting setup consists of open iron sights with a ramped front sight and protective hood, along with an open barrel-mounted rear sight. On this rifle, the rear sight is present but missing its buckhorn and elevator.
This is a customized example with added mounting points: two short screw-attached scope-base segments mounted on top of the receiver, plus a Picatinny-style accessory rail section mounted to the underside of the fore-end.
Additional observed details include a Marlin-marked buttplate/recoil pad, a hammer-fired lever action, and a 13.5 length of pull. The receiver serial prefix observed is MR, and the year manufactured is listed as 2013.
