Chambered in .22 LR and operating by a blowback action, this Mod. SPE is set up in a classic semi-automatic target configuration with a 5+1 capacity and a 4 7/8" barrel. The pistol uses iron sights with a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight assembly.
This example is clearly identified by its import and manufacturer markings, including "MOD. SPE CAL.22 LR / MADE IN ITALY CAT.4040" and the Fiocchi of America Inc. Ozark, MO import stamp. The pistol is also marked "PARDINI FIOCCHI," tying it to the Fiocchi import period.
The pistol is fitted with an anatomical wooden target grip with a palm shelf/rest, a configuration commonly associated with precision target use. The layout includes a right-side ejection port with the bolt/breechface area exposed.
Notable physical details include the rectangular/prismatic barrel shroud/weight-like forward assembly and squared muzzle face, plus a top-mounted metal block/base secured by screws. The upper/forward area shows two light-colored ribbed grasping surfaces/handles, and the rear sight unit displays the numeric marking "46."
