It is set up with fixed sights and a 4in barrel, and it wears checkered wood stocks with S&W medallions. Markings include "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel and "41 MAGNUM" on the right.

The Model 58 is built as a fixed-sight .41 Magnum revolver, pairing a service-oriented sight setup with a powerful chambering. This example is configured with a 4in barrel and a 6-round cylinder, keeping the profile clean and traditional with an exposed ejector rod and no full-length underlug/shroud visible.
Finish and materials are consistent throughout, with a blued steel frame and a matching blued steel cylinder. The revolver is fitted with checkered wood stocks featuring S&W medallions, and it uses a blade/ramp front sight with an integral rear notch in the topstrap.
Factory-style markings are present in multiple locations, including "MADE IN U.S.A. / MARCAS REGISTRADAS / SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MASS." on the right side of the frame and the S&W circular trademark/logo on the left sideplate. The hammer and trigger show a mottled/case-colored style appearance.
This revolver is identified as a Model 58 based on human input; the yoke/crane model stamping was not shown in the images. Serial number was confirmed as S-prefix (S295134).
